 RSSPepsi Azuki Taste Test n8:I think it should be noted that Peter is actually a huge fan of original Pepsi. Pepsi is a little rare in Japan and most convenient stores don't carry it. Perhaps one out of 15 or 20 vending machines have it on sale because usually they are stocked with Pepsi twist or Pepsi next. Those are lemon flavored and no calorie Pepsi respectively. When they do have original Pepsi inside, it only comes in tall 500ml cans. Peter likes Pepsi so much that earlier this month when the big typhoon was approaching and people were advised to stock up on emergency rations, like canned food and drinking water, Peter went to the Pepsi machine near his house and bought several cans just in case the power went out or the machine broke. So, try to understand that some of his strong, sometimes tearful reactions for flavored Pepsi stem from despair over how much they pervert and mangle his beloved nectar with each new sordid marketing venture. Yuki:Dude i love pepsi too, Love how they put out the tall cans for 120yen. Ill have to try and find that Azuki one. Peter:Nate is correct, regular Pepsi pretty much is the only thing I am addicted to. I didn't really drink that much before I cam to Japan, now I have to consciously keep it under control. The tall cans mentioned above are the same price as everything else in the drink machine, but are 500ml, which means more liquid for your yen. That's how they get you. People often tell me I should quit. People who binge drink and smoke and eat crap every day. add comment |
