RSSJapanese Pranks In this video three comedians are set up to think they are doing an interview with former internet scammers. Then the window gets shot out and everyone gets killed. The internet reaction has been overwhelmingly negative but the amount of views its getting will surely encourage more of the same in the future. You can judge for yourself. This was one of the first pranks I ever saw on the internet. It certainly isn't as mean, but remember, these are just people sitting down in a massage chair. I am always surprised older people don't get hurt and sue. This is from the same show (They use almost all the same sound effects). These pranks took place about 5 or more years ago and while doing shit to people while they are on the toilet is mean, it isn't quite as cruel as making them think people are dead. This is called 100 Vs 1 where they get a hundred people to do something and film the reaction. I have to admit, I enjoy this one. Its really old, look at the 10+ year mark. I have a little trouble believing this one is real, I sort of wish it was, but he stays too scared the same way for too long. Still, it's pretty innocent fun. This is a pretty common prank on Japanese television. This particular one is from London Hearts which was voted by the national PTA in Japan as the worst show on television and they claim it actually lowers your IQ. Obviously its one of my favorite shows. They do a lot of pranks like this around Halloween, sneaking into rooms and waking famous people up with loud noises. This is pretty standard television as far as jokes go. I am a super light sleeper so I have trouble believing these are real This one is a little hard to watch because of the quality, but the backstory is that the actress was a little worried about going to America because she had heard it was dangerous. They played on that fear. This isn't so much of a prank, but they really like scaring girls on Japanese TV. Finally, this is one of my favorites because I had just started watching Morning Musume at the time. Again, around the time Ring was a popular movie in Japan, they decided to get girls involved. I don't have any judgement to make on these since I enjoy most of them, even if I do think they are kind of shitty. For all the furor I have read around the internet for the sniper prank that doesn't even come close to the prank shows they do in Venezuala where they don't seem to be satisfied unless someone thinks they are really going to die. Peter:Here's another, on one of Japans most famous comedians. n8:*Spoiler* How do the guys walking to the bus not see the big tank of steamy water right behind it? Peter:I certainly don't believe any of the ones with famous people aren't all set-ups. If the angle was right you could pull that off, but that was the second or third time in that day (supposedly). n8:Sure, if the angle was right you could pull it off. But, look at the first bus clip, he would have definitely seen the tank. add comment |
